Assemby of the Mechanica M1 – an experience report

According to Uhrenbausatz GmbH, the entire kit and in particular the movement of the Mechanica M1 is designed in such a way that it can be easily assembled even by less technically experienced clock enthusiasts. At the same time, the Uhrenbausatz team promises the same high technical quality features as a Sattler precision movement. That sounds pretty good in theory! But how does it work in practice, especially for someone like me who wouldn’t describe himself as particularly skilled?
